Dr. M.E. Themens (Charlo NB)Veterinarian/Practice owner
Obtained her degree in Agriculture in 1978 from McGill University and her DVM from l’Université de Montréal in 1982. Opened the Dalhousie practice in 1983, and has a particular interest in sled dogs.
Chairing several professional committees, she has served 5 terms as president of the provincial veterinary association and participated on its council for 25 years. A founding member of the Restigouche County SPCA, she remains on the Board as an advisor. She shares her life with Kavik, Teeka, Nushka, Oomiq, and M.J, two sons, Paul-André and David, and is the proud grandmother of Madison Marie, Peyton, and Jackson.

Linda Aubie (Beresford NB)Reception/Assistant
Certified in sterilization, she assists in instrument preparation as well as handling reception and manages the online store. She has several cats in her life and a Great Pyr, “Lucky”…and hubby, René

Sonia Couture (Pointe Verte NB)Registered Veterinary Technician
A graduate of the three-year technician program at Collège LaFlèche and a ten-year veteran in the profession before joining us in 2013. Sonia is the proud mother of Elodie and Zak. Her four-legged kids include two dogs and three cats, all rescues.

Lynn MalleyVeterinary Assistant
O’Malley has been an integral part of our team since 2004 and is known for her multitasking and 'can do” attitude. Her household includes two horses, multiple dogs, cats, and one hubby “Morris.”

Rachel MutchVeterinary Assistant/Reception
Rachel joined us from the Restigouche County SPCA in 2018. She is passionate about animal welfare and has opened her home to several rescues. A mother of two girls, and married to Titus, a dairy farmer, she is a valued addition to our crew.

Adam SteverStudent
Adam joined us as a summer student four summers ago and is hoping to further a career in veterinary medicine . He is currently a student at AVC and has a desire to practice rural medicine.

Cindy Miller
Ms. Miller joined us after working in the human healthcare setting for many years as well as at the Restigouche County SPCA. A steady hand, she assists in multiple facets of patient care.

Titus MutchAssistant
Titus Mutch joined the team as an assistant in 2019. Our gentle giant, he is counted on deal with our most ferocious Chihuahuas and English Bulldogs, his favorite breeds.
